Drawing and inquiry privacy
How ProtoRFQ handles RFQ files, contact details, operational records, and website data.
RFQ files
Uploaded drawings and CAD files are stored in a private object bucket separately from public website media. They are used only to review, quote, and follow up on the associated manufacturing inquiry. Notification emails do not contain CAD download links; authorized staff retrieve files from private storage by Quote ID.
Contact data
Contact details supplied in an inquiry are used to prepare the quote, clarify requirements, and maintain necessary operational records. Contact-form records are scheduled for deletion after 90 days.
Retention and deletion
Incomplete upload drafts are scheduled for deletion after 7 days. Submitted RFQ files are retained for up to 90 days unless a longer period is required for an active quote or order. Email sales@protorfq.com with the Quote ID to request earlier deletion.
Website measurement
When configured, privacy-aware analytics records page and RFQ funnel events without sending uploaded drawings or requirement text. Advertising storage and ad personalization remain disabled. Visitors in strict-consent regions can accept or reject analytics before it is used.
Access and service providers
Authorized sales personnel use the submitted information to respond by email or, when requested, WhatsApp. Cloudflare provides website and private storage infrastructure. The transactional email provider receives the minimum contact and quote-reference information needed to deliver notifications.
Do not upload restricted data
Do not upload export-controlled, classified, regulated, or third-party confidential material unless an appropriate written agreement is already in place.
